Farhat Hashmi

Farhat hashmi was born in Sargodha district in a religious family. Her late father was a religious scholar of his time. She learnt basic Islamic education at home from his father. Later she earned formal education from Sargodha Degree College. She had her masters in Islamic education from university of Punjab Lahore.
Farhat Hashmi started her career as a lecturer in degree college Sargodha. Later she joined International Islamic university as a lecturer in Islamic studies. She completed her doctorate studies from Glasgow in “hadith”. Farhat had been delivering lectures and preaching Islam throughout her life.

She is among the founding members of Al Huda foundation. Al huda foundation is famous for unbiased women learning center, where women from any religion, sect and cast can come and learn about Islam and true religion. Farhat hashmi is renowned among Muslim women of the century for her impressive and sublime way of delivering lectures.
