Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi is and Indian Muslim scholar of sunni hanfi school of thought. He is also known as the imam of ahle sunnat. Ahla Hazrat hails from uttar pardesh Bareilly in India. Ahmed Raza is from baresh Pashtoon tribe. He was a great reformer in the inst British Empire.

Ahemd Raza Khan completed reciting the Holy Quran at a very early age of mere 4 years.Later he completed his Islamic education studies at the age of 13 years. Ahmed Raza  was known to be the youngest mufti of his time. He was the pioneer of great sunni movement in India. A great sufi and a poetic soul resides insides of Ahmad raza khan too. A very inspiring writer of a number of articles on Islamic Sufism. A number of books for guiding muslim umma.
Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi was an expert writer in many local and international languages like Urdu, Hindi, Arabic, Persian. His large catalogue of books and Fatawa Razaviyya including 31 volumes of fatwas, and Kanzul Iman which is a great translation and explanation of Holy Quran is still read across the world. His books have been translated in to number of Asian and European languages.

Students of Ahmed raza belong to every far and near. And they are spread in the world for preach and spread his message which they learnt from him. His grandson Mufti Asjad Raza Khan is his current successor. Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi died in 1921 and he is buried in Dargahe Ahla Hazrat.
